Tangata Whenua from Wairoa District, living either in the district or outside of it, can register with  Wairoa Taiwhenua by registering with Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated.

Ngā Mātāwaka – those without whakapapa to Te Wairoa or Ngāti Kahungunu but living in Wairoa District – are welcome to register to Wairoa Taiwhenua also.

For both types of membership, ensure you tick the appropriate box on the application.

Membership entitlements include access to some discounted events, services and goods through our iwi card.
